Preliminary Task: Table of Contents Analysis

Hello! Today I will be conducting an evaluation regarding my sample table of contents page. First, I would like to address my pictures. I don't have regular accessibility to animals other than my own dog. Covid-19 plays a big role in that, as well as my limited personal knowledge of pet owners. I utilized my own pictures from a few weeks ago to conduct this preliminary task. It is also hard for animals to sit still and get taken pictures of, so the photos aren't as good as I wanted them to be. This task was not simple or hard to work on. It was a little time consuming, due to the actual written table of contents I had to come up with. I realized that when I begin to produce my real magazine, I will need to be more prepared ahead of time. I will need to plan everything out before I begin producing the magazine. Camera Composition

In this blog post, I will be discussing the effects of different camera compositions that are utilized for film. Framing: - Framing is the use of elements to create a frame within a camera frame. Rule of Thirds: - The rule of thirds is the process of maintaining an imaginary grid that assists with positioning the image in the most natural way. This composition helps the camera holder position the subject in a way that demonstrates his/her features. The picture above shows the viewer the grid that is utilized for assisting with positioning the subject, which in this case for demonstration purposes, is not imaginary. Depth of Field-Deep Focus: - In a deep focus frame, the subject and background are very sharp and clear. This demonstrate details in the background and allows the viewers to embrace the entire frame. So for example, when it came to all of my original photos, I used my own phone to take the pictures. I used my iPhone 11 to take the pictures because the quality on my camera is really good and I was able to use features that came with the camera to enhance the quality of my photos, such as Portrait Mode. So, using my camera was a big help. I didn’t have to go and buy and nice, professional camera for the project. It was really just convenient to use my own phone.
