For this blog post, I have researched different presentations of house styles. I searched through different genres and companies to pick ones that are the most appealing to me. The following is a list of the layouts of house styles I preferred:
1. The Vanity Fair magazine has a captivating house style, which grabs the reader's attention quicker. The color scheme is perfectly aligned with the cover image, and the texts are organized and aren't difficult to understand. The masthead is in a subtle color that fits with the background, and is in the consistent unique font this magazine utilizes.
2. The Time magazine is very straightforward, simplistic, and has a very organized structure. A reader's attention can be quickly grabbed from this specific house style. There is limited information on the cover which can persuade the potential customer to open and read the magazine.
3. The Vogue magazine cover demonstrates a good size of text and color scheme. The text is not too small to read, nor is it big enough to take all of the attention from the cover image.The color scheme coordinates with the cover image, and the colors are vibrant enough to attract potential customers.
